RERAK Olympics — Launch Activation Content
Content Director → Creative Lead

To launch RERAK, the first recyclable beer pong table, I created an original parody series called the RERAK Olympics — a DIY gameshow-meets-global-tailgate filmed guerrilla-style at the LA Coliseum. The concept: two international teams face off in beer-themed events to showcase the table’s design, portability, and party-readiness in a fun, unexpected way.

Goal
Build early community buzz and inject personality into the Kickstarter campaign by spoofing the Olympic spirit — blending American tailgate culture with international flair and playful competition.

Execution
I made the original concept, cast, produced, and co-directed a full three-part showdown:

  1. Inaugural Build – first to assemble the table using only the printed instructions

  2. One-and-Done Cup Pong – first player to sink a single shot

  3. Team Flip Cup – the full squad goes head to head

I handled wardrobe, location sourcing, logistics, graphic overlays, and music cues — shaping the full broadcast-style story arc from opening ceremony to medal reveal. The shoot ran live, with minimal scripting and full creative control handled in Adobe Suite post-production. We even captured behind-the-scenes footage on the fly.

Challenge
Coordinating people, location, props, and timing — all while filming (unofficially) at the LA Coliseum — was equal parts thrilling and risky. But the shoot ran smoothly, and the rogue spirit helped the energy feel authentic and unscripted.

Impact

  • Successfully positioned RERAK as a fun, culturally aware brand

  • Featured on Kickstarter as a launch video

  • Positive community response — viewers loved the spoof format

  • Sharpened my skills in production planning, video art direction, and multi-part storytelling

  • Gave me the confidence and playbook to lead larger live-action shoots with moving parts
